Meet your guide
Hi, my name is Alex Joyce. I started fly fishing 30 years ago at the ripe old age of 11 on our family trips to Connemara, when my Dad taught me how to fish. Now many years later, living in The Burren, I have developed my passion to share & teach fly fishing to visitors. I enjoy teaching learner guests to fly fish and guiding the more experienced angler around the many rivers and lakes here in Co. Clare or further into the West of Ireland. I have learned all the secret & best fishing spots and a selection of flies to help you land one of our beautiful brown trout or even a fighting fit sea trout! I can provide all fishing gear and organise bespoke accommodation if you so require, tailored to your taste and budget.
